The Holiday season is coming up, so there has been a lot going on at RANH!
First of all, we have a new Executive Director, Linda Riggs! We are very excited to work with her this year, so please welcome her!
Also, we have been putting together gift tags for the Giving Tree, which the Neighborhood House does each year. Every year, RANH puts together gift requests from local families and mount them on tags to hang up in local churches and businesses. If you would like to help out with the Giving Tree, all you have to do is take a tag from your church or a business and purchase the gift that is printed on the label. We will then be collecting these gifts to distribute to the families that requested them. An act of giving can give someone the best Holiday they have ever had!
We have secured a booth at the Kris Kringle Market in Downtown Rochester on December 3rd, 4th, and 5th. We will be selling some small crafts and food, so be sure to stop by to help support the Neighborhood House! The proceeds will go to help our neighbors in need! The event also overlaps with the Christmas Parade in Downtown Rochester on December 5th, so come by to get some hot chocolate for the cold day!
We are very excited about the Holiday season and we have a lot of projects going on, so any way that you could help out is always appreciated!
